Sodium citrate ESR test tube The concentration of sodium citrate required for the black cap ESR test is 3.8%. This is a special test tube for the erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
The sample type is plasma, which is suitable for the ESR tube. Immediately after the blood draw, invert and mix for 5-8 seconds. Shake well before use. The difference between it and the test tube for coagulation factor testing is that the concentration of anticoagulant is different from the blood ratio, which should not be confused.
The ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) tube is specifically designed for blood collection and anticoagulation in Automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Analyzers for sedimentation rate testing. It follows the mixing ratio of 1 part sodium citrate to 4 parts blood, according to the Sinymedical method.
